Bad Teacher- C+

Elizabeth Halsey (Cameron Diaz) is a bad teacher who, after being dumped, tries to find a man with money. To do that she feels the need to get breast implants. Scott Delecorte (Justin Timberlake) is a nerdy substitute who has a lot of money on his hands. Elizabeth finds herself in a frustrating position when her dream man is crushing on the one teacher she hates. Elizabeth then schemes herself through getting a raise so she can afford her implants and land the dreamy substitute with money.

Bad Teacher is a more good than bad comedy. Not only does it have a fun story, but it also has likable characters. Cameron Diaz plays a selfish rude teacher that doesn't care about anything but getting breast implants and finding a man with money. Although she is yes, a bad teacher who takes drugs to school, doesn't really teach at all and has a horrible way of life, I still find her likable in many ways. Shes one of those characters you cant get enough of. Scott Delacorte a character that plays it safe and is more or less nerdy but he has his moments. Amy Squirrel (Lucy Punch) is the teacher who appears to have the best intentions (and she does) but is also trying to find blood on Elizabeth's hands after she sees through her kind act she has going on. Russel Gettis (Jason Segel) is a gym teacher who is in many ways very compatible with Elizabeth.

Overall Bad Teacher ended being not so bad. Yes, Diaz throughout the movie doesn't show much of a change in her way of life other than having a better attitude but I didn't think it was necessary. I loved her character and I didn't really want a change in her. One thing I will praise in this movie is the relationship between Halsey (Diaz) and Gettis (Segel). Their relationship was portrayed so perfectly fun and realistic. B-
