Thor- A-

Thor exceeded my expectations. From the marvelous visual effects to the outstanding action, Thor impressed me. Thor did what not many blockbusters can and proved to us there is more than just a cheap plot to keep a blockbuster going.

Thor (Chris Hemsworth) was born into royalty in the realm of Asgard and intends to be king, but when he crosses his father Odin (Anthony Hopkins) he is stripped of his powers and is sent to Earth. Thor then is rescued by a team of scientists, where he meets Jane Foster (Natalie Portman). Thor is now trying to find his way to get his mighty hammer back when he learns that his brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) is no more good than bad.

You couldn't ask more from the cast as they all deliver great performances. You really get into the entire movie and a lot of the reason you do is because the great chemistry that Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman create.

Thor is a funny movie with emotion between and action in many sequences. Thor proves to it's audiences there is so much more to a blockbuster. The best comic-book adaption since The Dark Knight but not just a good comic book adaption, but a great movie period! A-
