Captain America: The First Avenger doesn't have a lot of new things in store for you. Its just another corny blockbuster but a well put together corny blockbuster. Being the first avenger, it plays out like more of a prequel for the already released and to be released movies Thor, Iron Man and The Avengers.
The movie takes place during World War II. Captain America (Chris Evans) starts out as a skinny short guy from Brooklyn. He is then given an opportunity to become a super soldier. He gains popularity around America but not for saving the world. He first is used as a representative but then takes control and does what we all know, save the world.
The movie has some cool characters we haven't heard as much about such as Howard Stark, Tony Stark's Father and his love interest which was put to a stop fast. Emotion plays a big role in this film but only in the end which was something I wasn't expecting and something I enjoyed. Another plus for Marvel. B
